On October 7, 1922, Lord Byng came to Stonewall to unveil the new war memorial. Stonewall’s war memorial is constructed of tyndall stone on a base of concrete and local limestone.
Four bronze tablets bear the names of 102 men killed in action.
The memorial was designed by Gilbert Parfitt of Winnipeg.
