The Town of Stonewall Works & Operations Department is responsible for maintaining streets, roadways, sidewalks, boulevards, and drainage throughout the Town. From the time the snow melts until the time the snow falls each year they undertake the following activities:
- Pothole repairs
- Line Painting on streets and boulevards (weather dependent)
- Street sweeping, Sidewalk sweeping, and Boulevard Sweeping (please note that any amount of rain will delay this process)
- Boulevard repairs
- Grading of 12th Street West (until dust control is applied)
- Dust control application on 12th Street West in spring/summer (weather dependent)
- Maintenance and clearing of culverts and ditches for drainage purposes
As a reminder please SLOW DOWN and move over when you see Town Staff working on the streets to ensure everyone's safety.
